While the quest can indeed handle some amazing graphics and environments, these have been optimized by the developers through a process that requires at least a basic familiarity with game engines like unreal or unity, which both have a much steeper learning curve than SketchUp. The main issue is that if your model has even a little complexity in terms of geometry or material/textures it's going to tax the quest hardware beyond it's capabilities. Iris Prospect is the best answer at the moment, and The Wild is promising but in my experience neither provides a satisfactory experience on the quest.
